This class will introduce beginners, new hires and students to the Automotive Locksmith & Programming trade. You will learn the basics and key components of Automotive Locksmithing Industry including Key Identification, Key Cutting, Key Duplication, Vehicle Security, Keycodes, Transponder Chip Cloning and Key Programming.
Upon successful completion of this course, students are able to know what keys and tools are required for various vehicles, how to cut the keys to operate the vehicles, and finally how to program the keys to start and run the vehicles.
Students will learn the basics of some popular transponder systems in vehicles driven in North America. This class is ideal for new locksmiths or individuals just starting in the Automotive Locksmith Industry.
Certificates are awarded to students after successful completion of this training course.
