Transponder Key Programming
1. Insert key and turn to on position.
2. Insert dongle, car should beep a few times.
3. After the longer beep remove the dongle.
4. Turn key to off and remove from ignition.
5. Insert key and cycle from off to on position 8 x ending at off.
6. Security light should turn off. Key is now programmed.
Smart Key Programming
Using a master key to add other keys:
1. Connect the programmer to the OBD port of the car. You will hear some short beep sounds after the programmer powers on. It has entered auto search car status.
2. Press the start button twice to wake up the anti-theft module. After 7 seconds if the connection with the module has completed successfully you will hear some longer beep sounds. 4 beeps means the system is an IV K system, 5 beeps means the system is a V CANBUS system.
3. After 30 seconds you should hear some longer beep sounds. This means the car has entered into the add key state.
4. To add a smart key put the original key, with the logo to the back, on the start button. You should hear two beep sounds. The security light will flash twice. Within 5 seconds put the new key on the start button, you should hear two beep sounds, security light will flash twice. Repeat for any additional keys. After all keys have been added wait 30 seconds until the security light begins to flash. The car will now close adaptation mode automatically.
If all keys are lost, or only have valet key:
1. Plug the programmer into the OBD port of the vehicle while continually pressing the LED button on the programmer. After you hear two short beep sounds stop pressing the button. The car has now entered auto search car status.
2. Press the start button twice to wake up the anti-theft module. After 7 seconds if the connection with the module has completed successfully you will hear some longer beep sounds. 4 beeps means the system is an IV K system, 5 beeps means the system is a V CANBUS system.
3. In about 5 seconds the LED light will go out. Wait 10-16 minutes until you hear long beep sounds and the LED light flashes. This means the car has entered into the learn key state.
4. For all keys lost matching mode: add every smart key by putting the smart key, with the logo to the back, on the start button. You should hear two beep sounds. The security light will flash twice. Repeat for any additional keys. After all keys have been added wait 30 seconds until the security light begins to flash. The car will now close adaptation mode automatically.
NOTICES
1. You must be using a smart keymaker that is in good working condition, and properly follow the steps above, or damage may occur to the vehicle or the programmer that Transponder Island is not responsible for.
2. If the device matches up the key and the LED light is shining constantly please clear the error code in the vehicle by using and anti-theft system such as a T300.
3. After the programming of the keys is completed and the key can start the vehicle but the security light is still on this means that the study mode is still open. Check to make sure you have not used a valet key, as only master keys can manually shut the study mode.
4. Do not try to open the cover of the programmer or the dash board. Any damage caused to the programmer or the vehicle while trying to do this is the sole responsibility of the user and Transponder Island is not responsible.
